What inspired me to start an online cooking school?

About me

I am Filip Ćirić

If we haven’t met before—my culinary journey started at just 14, working as a kitchen assistant in a local restaurant.
After completing my education and spending years in top Belgrade kitchens, I became co-owner of the fine dining restaurant Homa in Belgrade in 2011, and later, of Homa Bistrot.

I’m one of the first Serbian chefs to receive a Michelin recommendation, and I’m especially proud to have been named Gault&Millau’s Chef of the Future for 2024.
In addition to running restaurants, I also work as a hospitality consultant and often appear as a judge on cooking shows like MasterChef Serbia.

I’m passionate about the power of food to inspire and connect people. I’ve had the honor of representing Serbian cuisine to world leaders, celebrities, and even royal families.
My mission is to inspire new generations of young chefs and to continue developing and promoting the modern culinary identity of Serbia through my work.
